Little Women Film Review

Little Women is a film adapted from a novel by American writer Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888), which was published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869.
The story of Little Women follows the lives of four March Family sisters, namely Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, who detail their journey from childhood to becoming an adult woman. Indirectly, this story itself is based on the real life of the author and his three sisters.

Little Women pocketed six Oscar nominations, namely the Best Picture category, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Costume Design, Best Supporting Actress for Florence Pugh, and Best Actress for Saoirse Ronan.

Among competitors in the field of acting, 25-year-old Saoirse Ronan was nominated for the fourth time in his career. This achievement made Ronan the second youngest star to receive this number at the Oscars.
The current record holder, Jennifer Lawrence, defeated Ronan by a few months' age difference. Lawrence was also 25 years old when he won the fourth Oscar nomination and won the Best Actress for the role in the film Joy in 2015. However, Lawrence was about four months younger at the time than Ronan at the moment.
